I studied residential construction trades at Vo-Tech in North East Maryland and graduated in 2001. There I gained knowledge of the many ways building can be done safely. Following graduation, my work experience included: working with a general contractor for 6 years building new homes and remodels; an Amish trim carpenter for 3 years focusing on trim work and decks; and as a chimney sweep handling seasonal maintenance of wood stoves and fireplaces and diagnosing system problems such as inadequate drafting issues. I have attended the Home Inspector program which is over 200 hours of training and have sat and passed the North Carolina state exam required for a licensed home inspector. I am Home Inspector License #3941 and am insured and bonded. I’ve lived in the Asheville area for 23 years, have witnessed many changes, and am very happy to call it home.
